Posted over 10 years ago by Margaret Crump

Good morning, NPs!

There is only one week left to apply for NP scholarships and grants. The funding is there to help you with education and research - don't leave money on the table!  Apply today to make a difference in your career and in your community.

In addition to MSN and Doctoral scholarships, ANPF is offering grants to support nurse practitioner research in the following areas of health research:

  • Advancing understanding of Interstitial Cystitis.
  • Diabetes-related research, including
    • maintaining glycemic control;
    • understanding how devices improve patient adherence;
    • safety and side effects of traditional and new therapeutic categories in diabetes;
    • clinical benefits of modest weight loss in Type II Diabetes; and
    • integrating management of diabetes care among HCPs and patients to improve outcomes.
  • Nutritional research on the positive influence of alternative sweeteners and sugar reduction on patient health outcomes.
  • Innovative approaches to care of older adults across all settings and innovative approaches to teaching geriatrics to advanced practice nurses in traditional graduate programs or continuing education.

Your research can help make a difference in your community, like last year's grant winner Monica Alleman, who has make a big impact on childhood obesity in Louisiana. Or help further much-needed study on Interstitial Cystitis and bring relief to patients suffering from chronic pain.

Visit the scholarships & grants page on our website for more information on these and other grants, and for application instructions.

Best of luck! We look forward to seeing your application.
